I have a confession to make

I almost stopped writing on this blog.  Really.  Seriously.  I was so busy this weekend, and I kept thinking who really reads this anyway, why am I doing this, blah blah blah.  But then tonight I decided to check it out again and I found a really sweet new comment...and, well, here I am.  I'm back.  Not that I'm expecting you to care all that much I just wanted to let you know where I've been.  And even though I have been busy I have also been avoiding you a little.  Because I just wasn't sure about things.

So THANK YOU for your sweet comments and your interest.  They are very fun for me!

I have the CUTEST Sunday Best for Less to bring you (from last Sunday of course) but due to all the family craziness we didn't get a picture (yet).  I did take a picture of me taking it in a bit.  I did it in about 10 minutes.  Didn't even measure or use pins (still can't find my pin cushion!).  And it turned out perfectly! I wore it to church on Sunday.  Here's a little sneak peak:

I went to the Goodwill with my sister-in-law while she was here and I found lots of great things.  I can't wait to share.  More to come!

  3. No! Don't even think about stopping this blog...you just started!! And I agree with the other commenter Erin - there is no blog like yours. I love everything....the yard saling, the ebaying, the 'dressed-for-less' Sunday editions, it's all great. So keep up the wonderful posts & know that this blog IS really being read. =)

  6. How did you take it in? I have a small bust and desperately need to take in a strapless dress I have.

  7. I literally turned the dress inside out, then sewed a straight line about an inch inside each of the side seams. I didn't even use pins. I figured I needed to take about two inches off each side and it seemed to do the trick!

  8. I know this post is more than 6 weeks old but I LOVE your blog. I keep raving about it to my mother--your pictures are attractive and your information is super informative. I am about to make the leap into ebay selling so this blog is exciting! Please keep up the good work!
