Saturday's Spoils: Dancing Princesses, Disney, and Dora Yard Sale Finds

After a huge week last week, this week was a bit more tame.  But that's okay.  Each Saturday morning I thank the Lord when I find anything that my girls can use or I can sell to make a little extra money.  I found lots of little things here and there, but I did find one yard sale that made the gas money worthwhile.  Can you say spoiled well-loved?
All of this came from one yard sale.
This little girl had everything ever made for Dora, and for Barbie and the Dancing Princesses.  You thought Ken was the man--he's got nothing on Prince Derek!  Ken just had Barbie.  Derek has 12 dancing princesses at his disposal.  The dolls look like they were hardly ever played with.  Every shoe, ribbon, crown, necklace, and accessory was saved.  My girls were never into Barbie...maybe this girl wasn't either!

At this same yard sale, books were 5 for $1.00!  That's $0.20 each.  I get excited when books are $0.25, so I was THRILLED to say the least.  We are huge readers over here so this was very exciting.  I bought a HUGE box of books, literally.  I'll give more details later on in the week, but one book I found I was particularly excited about:
Did anyone else LOVE this book?  I was a huge Sesame Street fan.

I hope you had a good weekend.  Don't forget to enter the giveaway!

  3. We have that book!

I just found your blog through Her Library Adventures, and I am totally addicted! I haven't managed to get myself into the garage sale routine yet, since having kids, but your blog is inspiring me to do it. Being the middle of winter here at the moment, its probably not the ideal time to start. Do you still go out in winter?
